Mini-Ninjammerz Weekend - February 19-21, 2010
With Dax Hock, Alice Mei, Thomas Blacharz and Sahra Djallel
Ninjammerz
Known for their unique and powerful style, the Ninjammerz is a dance troupe focused heavily on Lindy Hop and Authentic Jazz dancing. Together they work to recreate the style and energy of swing dancing while putting equal emphasis on the continual development of the dance
All the Ninja’s are internationally recognised teachers, competitors and most of all social dancers. As individuals, they have all been influenced by many great dancers, but the teams greatest asset is the fact that they all draw the most inspiration from each other. This creates a dynamic team filled with exciting ideas and an energetic teaching style.

Galway Swing Weekend - November 6-8
With Scott Cupit and Peta Cook of
Swing Patrol, London
Teachers
Scott Cupit: Scott is one of the driving forces behind the world-renowned Swing Patrol and was the main swing choreographer for the Australian version of ‘Strictly Come Dancing’. Scott has won first place at numerous competitions across Australia for many years and was the first Australian to compete at the prestigious American Lindy Hop Championships. A Pan Pacific Champion, Scott is known for his outgoing and extroverted personality and combines his passion for dancing with his ability to take a chance and have fun.
Peta Cook: Friendly, fun and loves her dancing. Peta started dancing at the age of 3 and spent her whole childhood doing ballet, modern, jazz and contemporary dancing. At Uni Peta found swing dancing and has since taught regularly in her home town Canberra and ran the local performance troupe, a girls performance team and regularly teaches both Lindy Hop and blues. Now London-based Peta can't wait to teach in Ireland. Peta placed first in the Australian Swing Dancing championships in 2009 in the Show Case division and has an array of trophies to her name. More than anything it is her perfect lines, graceful movement and love for the dance and the people involved that makes Peta a great person to both work with and learn from.
